For the sake of argument. Let's define the issues with Blood Weapon
- 10 seconds is extremely tight timing even under ideal circumstances. If you happen to ride the server tick, you'll loss 10 Blood. The slightest bit of lag at any part of your next five GCDs will also cost you 10 Blood.
- Due to Unleash and Stalwart Soul being classified as "Spells," it's impossible to get 50 Blood in an AoE setting as they're locked at a 2.5s cast time.
If they don't want to give Blood Weapon charges, it's duration should be changed to 11-12 just to account for the aforementioned issues.
The developers have already said they prefer to see a single, robust thread when it comes to receiving feedback from the players. Not saying this singular thread isn't helpful, but could you also post your message in the Dark Knight Megathread to further increase the odds of the developers seeing more feedback about Blood Weapon's clunkiness?
This dev team actually plays their own critically acclaimed game™ and collects their Allagan tomestones, unlike the dev team of the lead competitor brand. They already know about your frustrations and preferences, even better than you do. They would prefer to see all our collective feedback about DRK placed into a single, robust thread labelled 'dustbin'. I would prefer to see the forums saturated with discussions on problems that have been deliberately ignored for over two years so that newer, more idealistic players know at a glance exactly what they're investing in.
They should just change it to a flat blood generator of 50 or reduce recast of weaponskills/spells to 1.5s for 10 seconds. It's really just a Sole Survivor kind of ability with the name blood weapon. Just make it a flat Blood and MP restore skill for more TBN or Darkside attacks.
Dunno why they had to screw up DRK after Heavensward. Main issue has been and still is Living Dead and they are adamant about not changing it.
