I'm sure this has come up multiple times in the distant past, but I don't see it anywhere on the newest forum page of PvP threads: Why is Astragalos (Rival Wings) still a displayed duty if it hasn't been playable for years now? If it's intended to become playable again soon, then any official news would be nice, but otherwise, I don't see the point in why it's even still visible in the first place.
Astragalos has now been unplayable for longer than the time that it was enabled for, and it's pretty hard to not notice that every time I head to its tab in the Duty Finder...

They need to give the map a makeover if they ever bring it back. Mainly reducing the size of the map, and having towers and core on the same elevation. You couldn't hit the core from the south lane with an Oppressor unless you stood right next to it because of difference in elevation. Something the developers should've seen when they made the map.
They learned their lesson with Hidden Gorge. -

WoW Arena maps got 1-2 new maps added every other addon, we in FFXIV have the same map for several addons, and less maps than at the start. What is going wrong? -

Whatever they decide to do, they should either announce that they'll be updating the map soon, or remove it from Duty Finder; leaving it easily visible yet unplayable for years is extremely bizarre.

If there were any more plans for PvP during Shadowbringers' patch cycle after Onsal Hakair, they were probably squashed by Covid and the 5.3 ARR revamp. Unfortunate for us that care about PvP but better for the game overall in the long run.
We usually get at least 2 new maps/modes each expansion. -

Bumping this thread yet again. Hidden Gorge will return with 6.2 but there was no word on Astragalos.
Either they will remove it or give the map some sort of makeover. The map is broken with a 15min time limit. Every match would end with a timeout.
