Bliztball Pvp Arena (

Requirements -Max Level- 1 6 vs 6 (capture the flag like bliztball game) that 1 goalie 2 defenders 3 Strikers

object is jump who ever has the bliztball. and get close enough to kick ball goalie. every year each server on the data center will battle for top position. then reprosant the data center as whole pvp other data centers.

Bliztball pvp gear is best pvp gear in the game it even it equalivant to savage raid drops. its just as hard to get. cause you have win first place every season single season last 1 month. team highest score wins best team on server. then battles it out every 6 mouths be best on data center. 6 months later best in whole world.

Basic game blizt ball starts with kill the target has bliztball. if target is killed in a fight they have 30-40 second respawn timer this respawn timer only happens if kill the person with the bliztball. basically have get to the goalie. then fight the goalie in 1v1 fight if you win you score a goal if you lose goalie tosses ball to team mate.

Tackle - 20% chance snatch the ball from enemy player deals 45% targets health in damage
Pass - Pass the ball to allied player near by

I wouldn't mind an adaptation of Blitzball in XIV honestly. I loved the game in FFX and easily spent 3/4 of my time playing the minigame instead of the actual game

I have no idea where to start on the argument of making it a 2d or 3d content (which is actually a point that SE has discussed as an interesting problem and they're not sure what they'd want), but I can see either format and some interesting abilities to be able to use between; however, the main thing that comes to mind for me that I'd love to see if any sort of 'sport' comes about that it gets that sport fever in game (if possible). In FFXI when a city won a campaign they'd get this troop in their city doing little tricks, kind of a small example of darkmoon faire. It would be neat to see banners, excitement via npcs, etc, for a sort of sport content in game that had a cycle. Now they could use this idea for pvp (or "golden saucer" pvp, whatever I'm sure you could come up with a number of ideas). But at least when I think sports, and honestly this is coming from someone not really into sport watching lol, I think the mascots, banners, colors, music, vendors. In some ways, again coming from someone who doesn't go and watch football games or whatever lol, watching like the Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup scene in the movie.

Trying to catch that excitement and somehow making it part of the world on some cycle (with an opportunity of variation, and if possible even a sense of "ownership" to the experience so it's not simply a thing to be aware, maybe visit the seasonal like vendor / mini-game and then be done with it). An example of ownership, using valentines as an example because I had thought of it as a spoof on the whole WoW disease that killed everyone, is a sort of love virus mechanic where players get a small injection into the community and then begin to spread and multiply the buff, unlocking bonuses for the world and themselves at the same time, such that it's a 'community' event). More subtle example might be mechanics more akin to Death Stranding. The point being anyways is finding some way to ensure people could be involved even if somehow it is a pvp tournament of hardcore players, spreading their team cheer and mechanics backing it.

Also that song is amazing and the whole intro to that game is one of my favorite intros of any game ever (music, cutscene, combat, etc - it's not a single element thing).

As for, like kind of said already, how to add blitzball, or how big that content should be, no.. idea.. lol. Could be a cute mini game, could be something more major (though for so much resources if making it major, you'd really hope they're confident that it is fun then lol).

you know I personally enjoyed blitzball but idk if I'd want it to be pvp maybe a fun game in the golden saucer for party's to team up and go up against each other

for special glamor's and mgb (maybe a blitzball mount)

I know many might not have enjoyed it but personally i enjoyed blitzball more than the combat in ff10
