As a keyboard user, it's currently pretty much impossible to control the camera in a visually appealing way. The movements are always jerky and - to me - rather irritating and distracting in many situations.
The fast camera response can definitely be advantageous in combat situations, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who perceives it as detrimental to the overall visual quality. Just ask your animation department; I'm sure they'd agree! :P
So, would it be possible to add an option for increased camera ease in and ease out? Maybe even a slider to control the amount of easing?

As a keyboard user, I find the camera control to be sufficient. I'm sure there are improvements that could be made, but I don't quite understand what you're asking for.

What I'm asking for is simply an option to adjust the time the camera takes to reach 100% speed, as well as the time it takes to come to a stop.
