Deleted item for Scholar quest "In the Image of the Ancients"

Hi Everyone! I made a huge mistake, and I'm not sure how to remedy it. I'm so used to getting "junk" gear as I'm going about my business, that I deleted the scholar boots (received from a piece of the quest), and now I'm unable to turn it in without all 4 of the pieces. I have the Scholar's Mortarboard, Pants, and Gloves - but I'm unable to abandon the quest to obtain the items again.

I went to the Calamity Scavenger to see if he'd have them, but unfortunately, it wasn't to be found at all. Any clue on how I can get through this one? Without completing this quest, I can't move on to additional Scholar quests, so it's pretty important. Thanks for your advice in advance!
