Should they make a Tip Jar/ Donation Box for Bards when they perform? I really seen some good Bards that play music really good. Even when they get a group/band going to play music. What do you think?

given that it is hard to say how many are actually playing the music themselves instead of relying on some other program, I am not sure I would be for this idea.
"here's a tip/donation for not actually doing it yourself.. well done" isnt the most recommended reward structure in a game where 3rd party software to automate play is kinda against the rules
I'm of Kes13a's mindset. Big difference between manually playing the song and just having a bot do it for you. It'd feel weird tipping Gil for simply pressing a button on a program.
...Granted people paid a hefty amount for my Thighlander Fund™ so heck, if people wanna tip you for playing some jams, let them. Dunno if the trade window interferes with playing.
I'm also sure theres thousands upon thousands like me who have the performance music disabled.
(remember when you couldn't do that? man that was hell)
The trade function exists.
As soon as you add a reward aspect to it I think it invites for a lot of obnoxious people ( see the Mentor meme ).
I think you'll just end up with people grouping up in the most populated areas and spamming in chat begging for tips.
In the end of the day you should probably perform because you enjoy it and think it's fun, not because you want tips.
