Event Items, Limited Items, and Outside Items lost to time. An idea to obtain.

As the game gets older. I feel that certain time locked content are things lost to time. While some players join late and won't get a chance to get these items, or sometimes their characters/accounts are lost through other means I feel a middle ground for getting the items should be in place.

Simply put. After a certain amount of time. Items that were available in-game through events can be bought on mogstation. This is already in place.

Other events outside of our control. Such as IRL events or Screenshot events we are unaware of are still rarely seen. I'm talking about things like gaelicap, class earrings, and other objects as well.

My suggestion is that putting them on the mogstation or if you want to give everyone a fair chance. An in-game event and then mogstation.

This is a chance for people to complete glams, do events, and feel like they have a chance at acquiring something they missed out on or were unable to obtain.

Also, please release the pizza emote

I don't feel as though I'm asking for anything too crazy or hasn't been said before. I just thing its a good idea to allow these items to be placed in the game so they can be used by the players. I mean how many people have you seen with the gaelicap? Work went into these and I hate seeing such potential and talent go to waste especially with how creative people get with glams.

That's kind of what's being done with the mogstone events.
They use them to sometimes bring back things.

I'd love the ring from 1.0 that showed your birth sign.

And maybe space in the armour for the class rings.

I thought the class rings could be stored in the Armorie?

1.0 items should remain forever unattainable because that was their whole point, especially the Legacy chocobo attained through the Legacy Campaign - it's part of the game's history that is gone forever (SE actually tested the waters bringing two previously old unattainable 1.0 items back temporarily during a Rising event a few years ago; the Manderville Earrings and the White Raven Earrings.... and the huge amount of vitriol spewed on this forum about it spoke volumes to SE, meaning there is now little to no chance of ever seeing any other old 1.0 items return, SE simply will not repeat that mistake again.).

Old seasonal event gear however should eventually return on the Mogstation for sale, which a lot has already. As for special bonus items attained with merchandise, having such items as a bonus is an incentive to purchase the merchandise in the first place (particularly when the merchandise is first offered for sale, usually for preorder), having an alternative means for attaining those items means SE loses money on less sales of the merchandise they would otherwise have.

Same goes for preorder bonuses for the expansions - if these were offered after the expansions were launched then SE would potentially lose preorder sales that would affect their bottom line that month, it all comes back to economics.
