Lets Talk About In Game Support

So I'll admit I messed up at first. I wanted to support this game so bad. Being a WoW refuge and giving this game a shot has been great.....until I needed to have a support concern addressed.

You see I bought an optional item, Lightning's Attire, off the shop but accidently had it sent to the incorrect character. I opened an in game support case to get this addressed and was promptly told to delete the items from the unintended character and that an investigation would be performed to address the concern.

This was 11 days ago. 11 days just to get some items created onto the correct character. I've replied numerous times to the in game support reps and have just been met with their generic copy and pasted message about "Upon completion of our investigation" usual. Still no items.

Is this normal? This is how long support takes to address concerns? FF14 really has a chance to take top spot in my opinion in terms of the MMO market but this right here makes me not want to waste my time.

Is there any other avenues to take besides the in game support and chat functions off their support website?

I had a similar situation happen, where I purchased an item and had it sent to the wrong character. An in-game bug report was sent and within a week and some correspondence back and forth, the issue was resolved and fixed. Keep at it. If you deleted the items from the wrong character reply back to them again and let them know you have deleted the items from the incorrect character.

Wish I could have that optimism. It's now been 14 days and still no luck. 14 day backlog on tickets is quite.... insane. You would think that this would be seen as a major issue by SE and they would fix accordingly. I've done a fair share of research over the past couple of weeks and it seems that support response has always been a little lacking. I wonder why they aren't attempting to improve it?

Have you sent them another response? I would reply to the last response they gave you if you haven't already, or send in a new ticket explaining that you have already been waiting x amount of days.
