I've always thought it was part of his character. Sounds like he's a working man's working man. He's a good ol' boy not afraid to get his hands dirty. And ya know what, he had his chance to go to academy but chose to follow in his father's footsteps when the gilcounters tried to take the family farm. His widowed mother was sad about it, twelve rest her soul, but he'll create a better life for his children and their children's children.

Though there is an argument for this being a bit of thick characterization, I dooon't think that was the original intention, and I am personally of the opinion that this is a bit much of a hiccup upon re-reading. So, I've gone back and changed it to "does," and the new text will go live in patch 1.22a. Thanks Moose, and sorry Delt! (fun read, though!)

I guess he really just us under-educated! Reading it all in paragraph form, the "when it do" and "what facilities is here" don't sound as stylistic... I bet they were intended to be written that way, but those two in particular seem forced and kinda broke the flow a bit.
It's like the difference between "I ain't got none" (wrong but readable) and "son, I am disappoint." (dafuq?)
Also, I apologize to all of the Gogorano enthusiasts for my shameless ruining of their FFXIV experience.
