Retainer question

I have a lot of extra retainers, now is there ANY way to reactivate the retainers on only one character at a time, or when I activate 4 retainers is that going to reactivate four across all of my characters, because yes I have alts.

The retainer subscription affects all characters on your account. There's no way to re-activate only for specific characters.

You can go to the Retainer Vocate once the subscription is re-activated to dismiss any additional retainers on your other characters if you no longer want. I'm not certain about the exact process but I imagine you'd need to remove all gil, gear, and other items stored first.

I wish I could hire your "extra" ones.

Yeah I need to do a purge (again) before Endwalker on my main.

I started that a couple weeks ago. Anything that doesn't go toward Coffee Biscuits (gathering bonus), Espresso con Panna (leveling damage bonus), housing items, materia, and stored collectables for Custom Deliveries is getting sold on the MB. Anything that's not sold by the time EW comes out is getting vendored. It's become something of a mini-game for me to see if my retainers can earn more money than I do directly through leves and such. They're slowly catching up. :)
