Verminion minigame cursor is stuck in the top right of the screen.

As soon as the option to move is available in the verminion tutorial the marker/cursor to move your minions is in the top right corner, I can only move it by adjusting the camera angle which is painful. I can still move my actual mouse cursor around but my minions will only run to the top-right if I right-click.
I have tried switching from keyboard and controller, restarting ffxiv and the minigame multiple times. It is always stuck in the top right corner, I cannot find any mention of this issue anywhere.
