Am I crazy or did they remove that skill a while ago? I was reading on what Paladin is good for, either OT or MT and that ability came up as a good thing to use as the OT. I can't seem to find it. It's been awhile since I've looked at the past skills.

might be thinking of shield swipe that was removed you get spirits within at lvl 30
Spirits within been there since ARR pretty sure only a "good" OT move since it has a damage penalty if your HP isn't almost full (for some reason) -
