Failing as CRP on Ixtal Standing at the Helm - Help please

I can't figure out how to do "Standing at the Helm" for the Ixtals.
I'm level 42 CRP with good gear, as far as I can tell.

Couple things, you’re using NQ, unmelded gear. Try to get more HQ gear as your stats are higher with it. Second, don’t spam standard touch, use basic and combo it into standard touch as it reduces the CP cost of it. Take advantage of your buffs like innovation and veneration.

I plugged your stats and levels into a crafting calculator and you can max out quality and progress with your current gear as well. Try using this rotation.

Inner Quiet > Waste Not > Innovation > Basic Touch > Standard Touch > Basic Touch > Standard Touch > Innovation > Basic Touch > Standard Touch > Basic Touch > Veneration > Basic Synthesis

From the video your stats were 184 craftsmanship, 176 control and a total of 272 CP without food.

There’s a website called ffxivteamcraft that has crafting calculators and a host of other great tools that may be worth checking out.

Eclipse12187 has given great pointers.
I'd suggest to simply eat a cheap food as well. Only cost 37 gil to use a Stone Soup anyway, bought from the Gold Saucer.
