The Princess and the Fish

For some reason the gameplay forums won't let me post so I'm posting here. I'm tryinig to finish a fishing quest called "the Princess and the Fish". You have to catch a Princess Trout. I went in the river she said to go into and I caught many Princess trouts, but the quest won't update. So, I went all over in ever single river and caught princess trouts and the quest stil won't update. I've been fishing for hours and probably have around 60 Princess trout. Will someone please help me? I can't go any further in the fishing quests because the quest won't update.

A regular fish won't do. For that quest you need a high quality Princess Trout. (Thats what that odd feather looking symbol next to the item name means)

If an HQ fish is proving this elusive (60 caught an no HQ yet??) I would recommend getting new gear and umateria food that increases perception (maybe materia too). That'll buff your chance to get an HQ fish.
