Beastmaster weapons - Duel axes tomahawks - primative looking with aetherites and ruins attack

Beastmaster can switch from melee and to ranged combo flawlessly there combos are split into two when close up you melee damage when your far away you throw your axes

What Does beastmaster gather you say? "Monsters" and "Hides and Meat" more so then any other combat class cause they live in wild off the land

Beastmaster Stats -
Capturing - you have have this to capture monsters put in monster arena
Charm - this is required to charm monsters to fight for you your perma pet
Survival - this increases amount drops you get for killing monsters


Beastmaster Pets - they are like more powerful version of your pet chocobo. they can be trained as either a tank. dps or healer . however your pets can only have 3 actions at best get those actions you have create a special bond with your pet

now then - Beastmaster HUb - Beastmaster have there own little small village in the world there one for each area of them game

these little villages have 3 tanks a beastmaster vendors. monster arena. and monster breeding

you can breed monsters to make bigger more powerful version once they reach max bond level. two monsters breed they share all abilities and stats double they wear. you can create truely epic monsters like this keeps beastmaster really engaged


Beaster Master is unique that it can team with other classes . why would other jobs want to other jobs want to do that. "Monster Arena and Beastmaster Vendors"

Beast Master Job really is collect 10 every monster in each area and put them in cages in monster area. master of the area work there scary monster magic create even more terrible monster watch is equal to 8 man raid boss. some are even savage level.

Defeating these bosses give everyone beastmaster tokens watch they can trade in for great loot as weapon get great tribal weapons for there class

Tribal weapons are special. they are not strong like one you buy like crafting what you find in dungeons. however they automatically level you and they look really cool. you can also buy mounts other helpful stuff or trade them in for politics

Beastmaster skills are learned by capturing all monsters in area. instead of just leveling up. your beastmaster starts with 2 abilities

At Max Level Beastmaster has face fierce trail - Beastmaster only dungeon-

Frozen Peeks of Mount Gagazet - you fight terrible bosses. terrible monsters with you and your pet. at very top you get relic weapon and your armor and your pet learn its epic ability

whats make this so hard is you cannot have help . and it is very long almost feels like deep dungeon but from start the monsters are super hard. and your max level

This why think beastmaster should be added to ff14 its more. a deep love for this series. from final fantasy 6, 7, 10, think be a creative love letter to all fans who supported squire-enix from very start of the game. so alot detail would go into this class. also there alot people who started playing final fantasy and is no longer with us. rest in peace. as gaming community would be a great way say thanks. like gaming community is great and sadly no one lives forever. i hope see final fantasy keep going on for future generations to come

um beastmaster is already in the game. in Bozja/Zadnor. you can't play as one tho!

Astrologian was in the game in ARR, but you couldn't play as one... until you could.

So there's still hope for some select potential jobs, such as Geomancer or Beast Tamer.

Personally I'd like to see Beast Tamer as a job that expands the companion system. So it would be a limited job in itself, that has the ability to tame and bring a companion pet into instances, but those new companions would also be available for any job to use in the world, just like the company chocobo is now. It would then be a limited job that adds to your overall experience, rather than an isolated system like BLU mostly is.

And Geomancer for magical ranged DPS in 7.0 please.

Ill never capture a single pet and run dungeons until max level and prove to you why being able to team up with other classes is a bad idea or locking skills behind having to capture them all is a bad idea.

As fun as any concept can be around a job, the implementation of limited jobs in FFXIV is lackluster and short-lived. BLU gets leveled up in a breeze, you can do most of the achievements in a few days of raiding. It will never achieve the purpose of a full job, and thus will always create frustration for players who would prefer X or Y job to be a proper job rather than a limited one.

BLU was boring in its first implementation, improved in its second and finally decent as a level 70 job, but it stills rubs many players the wrong way given the potential of the job. They focused on the gimmick of farming spells (which wasn't fun when it was random), and now that it is 100% in certain conditions, it's not a gimmick anymore. If BLU had a handful of spells allowing it to be a proper DPS, I'm certain most of the players would have been happier than what we have now.

I'd rather have a full job, even if it loses some of its FF flavour (as we already have Ninja, Dark Knight, Summoner, Samurai, Bard, Dancer which are vastly different from their previous FF iterations, but work fine in their FFXIV versions) but works with the whole game, rather than a half-baked version that focuses on flavour but lacks in the gameplay department.

TL;DR: no more limited jobs.

This very much. NO MORE LIMITED JOBS! I do however appreciate your thought process OP and you clearly put a lot of effort into it.

Im surprised at how many ppl didnt know about the original BLU leaks. (It wasnt intended to be "limited". The "limited" status was a way to recycle the animations that were about to be thrown away, when the original BLU job was being scraped and changed into another job. Both the other job, and current BLU are in the game...)
