Throwing weapons, sticking around?

Kind of curious if throwing weapons are going to be sticking around into 2.0 or not. I mean all of the recipes are dated so I'm assuming they'll be removed sooner or later. Add onto that the fact that they haven't added much onto the system itself, aside from raising the range.

Personally, I actually like the throwing weapons. They'd be great if they were just a little more useful, possibly a little longer of a range. You could use them for pulling at least and right now they're not bad for generating TP. Also always thought it was cool how each class had its own special throwing weapon that related to the class. Would hate to see such a system dumped down the drain but we'll see what happens I guess.

If they made throwing weapons useful, sure. However most pulls are gigantic trains anyways, so there's no real point. Maybe if they made enemies more punishing, etc. But then that would cause problems with linking.
