I wonder if SE will suspend preorder sales of Endwalker to mitigate crowds in EA?

I am wondering with the congestion issues and surge of popularity if Square Enix may suspend all preorders of Endwalker at a certain point to prevent complete chaos and limit Early Access entry?

I would say preorder now just to be safe. I feel this surge isn't going to end and that people are going to be primed and ready for November 19th. I think crowd mitigation measures may be needed and suspension of preorders seems like a likely scenario.

They will stagger sending out codes like they did with Shadowbringers. I pre-ordered Shadowbringers rather late and I didn't get my game key until early access was almost over. Thankfully, I pre-ordered Endwalker the very moment it was opened, so I should get my key fairly early.

I think Square Enix likes money. Sooo

I didn't remember that but then I also preordered early for SHB.
On Steam I think we already have gotten our codes, we just can't put them in yet.

And give up the revenue? Highly unlikely.

I preordered on console and just got right in for Shadowbringers Early Access, there was no code or anything. I am interested to see how it all pans out.

Your pre-order key is good for 2 weeks after early access though, just for this scenario. They didn't really stagger anything

I got Shadowbringers the day of Early Access and got into it right away, so it might depend on the retailer.

The only thing likely to happen. Is what happened at Stormblood launch, when full game keys didn’t arrive to certain players for up to a week after full release.

And that was pretty hastily fixed and corrected, which is why we have the early access codes grant you two weeks of game time.

I dont know if this was a genuine question or just a troll, but i highly doubt they limit the amount of preorders for endwalker.

I dont belive they suspend pre order anymore. Usually i dont play in launch days cause of congestion in questgivers.
