I wonder if they do nerf all the levs profits if prices will go down.

If leves get nerfed, there are still other significant sources of raw gil gains like treasure maps.

I doubt prices would be affected much at all regardless because the lopsided stock vs. demand ratio is the core issue and the gil that's already in the economy isn't going to magically disappear.

With new housing area open up. That will make a small dent into some of it, but ya we would need more money sinks for sure. Hmm

Personally, I’d be fine if they just removed leves entirely for DoW/M, or cut them down to only 1-30 for DoW/M.

As is they should just be a place to get a little gear, practice your rotations pre dungeons and get the odd coinage.

If anything they SHOULD give more grand company seals so you can get that rank a little faster.

…alternatively, they should revamp them entirely to be open world activities like a monster hunt (like monster hunter, involving tracking a mob that eventually spawns for a soloable mini boss), or a treasure hunt that has you go through some dangerous area to locate a coffer, avoiding mobs cat and mouse style. Or maybe the chocobo hot and cold game.

Basically anything other than the weird pseudo-solo-fate they are now..

For DoH/L, I think a fair conversion of 100 leves to get 1 crafter to cap isn’t too bad an exchange, and for actual gil..eh. There are equally easy/fast way so I don’t see the problem.

I think they should remove content you care about too. How about that?

Personally, hope not. It is just a way to burn your allowances in something.
A day of roulettes still grants a nice chunk of gil that can take a decent amount of crafting time (if you are going for guaranteed HQ Cookies) and sometimes i do not want to spend my whole afternoon pressing the macro button and just do quick crafting instead (which also takes time if you also spend time gathering or sending retainers for mats).

It is not like you immediately have the mats, it does requires some setups even though it's easy.
