[Gamepad Controlls] Why is "Toggle" not working with extended/doubletab?

(Disclaimer: sorry for my english)

I'm trying to properly setup my gamepad controlls.
I'm looking up guides but every guide I find is using the extended and doubletap crossbar which are somehow only working with "Hold".

...why? Holding L2/R2 for minutes is just straining on my indexfingers.

I'm using "Mixed" but the problem with that is I can still only use the extended CB (not the doubletap ones) and after I used a skill on the extended and when let go of the shoulderbutton, the crossbar becomes deselected (which caused me to activate auto-run and other crap I dont need)

Where is no reason for the crossbar to be deselected when I use the extended CB. (Why not use another button to manually deselect crossbars in generall?)

Maybe I didn't find the right settings but I shouldn'd need to set up cb-change makros so I can fit all skills into one setup.
