Controller support on PC not working.

I'm at my wits end on this and I'm not sure what is going on. I have tried connecting 3 different controllers to my PC and tried playing FFXIV on my PC with said controllers; and nothing seems to be working. I've connected

• XBOX 360 Controller
• XBOX One Pro controller
• Playstation 5 Controller

to my PC. I have opened up other games (such as the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games) and tested each of the controllers in those game to make sure they are working. All 3 work in those games. I then boot up FFXIV program. Once I am in, I try using each of the controllers and nothing happens. Once in the game, I try moving the control stick to move, and nothing happens. Until recently I was able to move and interact with the controllers, but now I cannot. Each of the controllers are cable connected to the PC and not using any Wi-fi/Bluetooth connection.

Are you on a Desktop or Laptop?
Does this only happen with Final Fantasy XIV?
Have you tried 3rd party controllers?
Are you under a Steam or Windows platform?

If the issue still persists, please respond with a FINAL FANTASY XIV System Report. On the game launcher, select 'Config' option and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

For whatever reason, sometimes when I launch the game I have to go into the configuration menu on the login screen and re-select the controller type. Even if it shows the correct controller, I have to just click on it, save the "change" and then it will recognize the controller again. This is with an XBOX One Controller. I've had it happened both connected and wireless, it doesn't seem to matter either way.

DS4 Windows for the PlayStation controller and Xbox accessories app for the Xbox ones. You’ll need to configure and calibrate those each time you change in the option menu. The Xbox one should work natively on windows but the PlayStation one will require DS4 windows.

Worst case would be a clean install of windows because once you exhaust all the options then there’s a corrupt driver. One you’d never find either lol.
