A "Cover it All" playlist

I noticed that, going through various site that most help provided to new player Video-Wise always was quite lengthy, assumed certain knowledge or tried to explain too much at once. I know that this can make it quite hard to understand everything explained.

Noticing that gap, I decided to work on a series that build knowledge from the ground up for anyone wishing to raid and generally learn more about the game. I have a background in both psychology and teaching and many years of raiding (Diabolos, Serah Neige) See it a bit like the "Crash-Course" video that exist for non-gaming subjects. Basically Trying to keep each video as short as possible and touching a singular subject (also make it easier to update the playlist later on)

Feedback, both form new and veteran player is always a plus, as it help tune the content in the future to make it more useful to everyone. I want it to be as good as possible so no one is left wondering how anything work or confused about what people are telling them.

Any additional ideas regarding what subject to tackle in the future is also greatly appreciated.

What is prepared and planned to be added (For the time being, not in order):

Gear (Part 2) - Explaining in better detail how to acquire it and how to go about doing it "efficiently". The difference between Static looting and PF looting.

Consumables (food and pots) - What they do, how important they are and when they are used. How to acquire them.

Mechanics - General recurring concepts. Dodging using cast bar (instead of visuals) ect.

Positioning and Movement - Normally missed tips and tricks regarding boss positioning and general Map awareness. Slidecasting concept.

Progression - Progressing new fight, proper mindset and tips about how going about figuring out new mechanics blindly.

Buff Calculations - How buff/mitigations stacks and how they are computed. Why buff have increasing returns yet mitigation have diminishing returns.

Role Duties (Healer) - The intricacies. How its not always straightforward. Decision Making. Sharing OGCD healing planning with the tanks and co-healer. When to DPS, when not to.

Role Duties (Tank) - Boss positioning responsibilities. Mitigation management. How to keep in mind other players (like melees).

Role Duties (DPS) - Beyond DPS: Uptime, Mitigations and planning.

Buff Optimization - How to optimize

Potency - Explain the difference between roles, how its calculated and why pets are different.

How to find groups - The Various options regarding finding group and how approaching each one of them to give you better chance of success.

Conflicts - The psychology behind online debates and how to approach them in a productive manner.

Old Content - How gear syncing works and how old easier/harder old content is. How skill changes over expansion affect older content.

Ultimate's - Are they that hard? What to expect. What are the real challenges?
