Crafting is now turn based

I miss my ATB craft
And did the req for HQ is still 1k quality?

300 quality gets you 1% HQ chance, 500 quality is around 7% chance, and the hq rate rises dramatically past that point, with 1000 quality being guaranteed HQ.

I think you might be the only one who misses the crafting timer. That was horrible.

any recommended skill for HQ?

That timer was just a bad idea.

I'm dissapointed by the removal of the timer, I was hoping that by removing it perhaps your synth wouldn't be cancelled if you d/ced, but i've had 2 dcs since and lost my synth lol. I figured maybe the synth was being lost since the timer was still going on but even without it, they'll cancel the synth when you d/c.

Yeah I know you can draw parallels between that and battle (and between gathering and battle).

But it's not actual battle and I like it when it's more relaxed.

gathering is not battle
its a hot and cold game
