Hello everyone,
The belt-box thingy, is there any explanation as to what it does or is it just arsenal, ammunition disposal?
Do MCH use their own aether to fire aetherial-projectiles or just ammunition with augmented aether?

When it comes to jobs, cities, regions, races, etc. - top level stuff - there's always someone standing around that area who will blurt out PR Kit blurbs containing vital info if you can track 'em down. The one for machinist tells you a bit about that.

Basically, a machinist is someone what wields a firearm. But it's the aetherotransformer worn at [their] waist what makes [them] different from other marksmen. This machine converts the aether found within a person's body into lightnin'-aspected energy, which then powers the machinist's arsenal of specialized devices an' techniques.
The big question is.... why is the aetherotransformer completely locked in style and position? Surely it should have upgraded as we got more powerful gimics? With each new expansion when we unlocked something maybe? Or maybe just let us have a relic weapon that has a slightly different looking one?
It's like a bigger, uglier cousin to a TOS Tricorder.
The aetherotransformer has almost always dyed alongside the gun, I wouldn’t read much into it.
Having the aetherotransformer be glamorable or change with each type of weapon has been asked for, for as long as egi glamours. And unlike egi glamours they’ve not really given any even hints of being willing to change their stance.
I'd love to be able to just hide it entirely. Paladins can glamour an invisible shield and still use shield-related skills, why can't we hide the lunchbox?
