Errors 2002/90002/900006
Starting my own thread for this issue since I tried contacting live chat support TWICE yesterday and both times my ticket was closed because "they had no reports on servers having issues so you should Troubleshoot to see if it's not a problem on your side" despite there being 2 threads with reports by multiple different people on the past days. If you are having this issues as well I encourage you post your own thread as well instead of doing the sensible thing of posting everything in one thread to avoid bloating, since otherwise the problem is "not reported".
Problem started August 10th at around 18:00 GMT-3. I'm from Argentina and I play on Primal but also have an alt on Chaos. Since the aforementioned time I have been unable to stay logged in to the game for more than 10 minutes without getting kicked out with an error 90002/90006 and sometimes even not making it to the login lobby before getting an error 2002. This problem ONLY EXISTED WHEN TRYING TO LOG IN TO NA DATA CENTRES. I experienced this problem mostly on Primal, but to double check I created a new character on Aether and experienced the same problem of getting disconnected after a few minutes.
I could log in to lobby and characters in Chaos without any issue.
To me this sounds like a problem related with the overpopulation of NA servers. Since Square has stated to be having difficulties procurring the microchips for upgrading the servers, I recommend you temporarily disable Free Trial account creation. The game experience of customers that pay should have priority over customers that don't pay.

GMT+1 here, and i play on Balmung. Around 9 PM (the timing coincide o.o) i started disconnecting as well. But during the day prior to it i had severe cases of lag as well. And to this moment (i tried to log in moments ago) the error is still present and kicks you out after some minutes of activity

I'm having the same issue since August 9th. Lag spikes and I frenquently get DCed.

you're probably having routing issues to the NA data center. do a traceroute next time it's acting up and see where the dropoff is.

I did several Tracerts toward 204.2.229.11 (Crystal Datacenter IP if you're not aware) , both while game was running properly and while it crash... and noticed it's the ae-4.r00.scrmca02.us.bb.gin.ntt.net [129.250.7.57] that keep timing out. I believe it's one of the switches of the NA datacenter that's being faulty. Which also means there's no way of solving this on our own.
Update. I did also several pings, and most of time it keeps timeouting partially or completely. So my assunption is taking foot... We're having a faulty part in the server.

I've been getting the same error codes and having the same issues during the last couple of days, making the game unplayable.
I'm also playing on the Primal datacenter, I log in (unless I get the 2002 error), and experience massive lag, then it goes away for like 5 minutes, then comes back, then I get disconnected with either 90002 or 90006 error codes.
In my case I'm on PS4 and changing DNS servers, restarting both router and PS4, disabling and enabling cookies/javascript, etc won't fix the issue.

Unfortunately have to confirm, it's the ae-4.r00.scrmca02.us.bb.gin.ntt.net [129.250.7.57] that's not working. Nothing on our part we do will change that, it's fhr the tecnicians at SE to notice the problem. Litterally a server-side problem for anyone having to go trough that webnode
-
It's NTT's technicians that have to notice and fix the problem, not SE. NTT is their ISP.
SE will never say anything is down however or that a problem is on their end, as long as the game's server itself is up and running and a connection can be made to it, then everything is fine.
It's also possible NTT is doing work on that node or there could be any other myriad reasons why it's not letting traffic through. They're down a lot though.
It's why the generally accepted solution to routing problems is to use a VPN service to bypass it altogether.

Oh, my bad... I wasn't aware of that detail. Thank you
