I'd like to see some of the lower-level items made dyable

Title pretty much says it all. While the low-level items may not be particularly flashy, I tend to use them a lot in glamming for just that reason - especially weapons. Unfortunately, much of these are undyable - dungeon stuff in particular, but a lot of the craftable weapons, too, cannot take dye. This is a shame because, as far as things like swords and spears are concerned, there are a lot of really good, traditional, simple looks locked away in these items that I imagine a lot of players would use if they could just match them to their glams.

Normally, I'd just beg for SE to add more items with generic looks, but that seems more difficult (and against their seemingly committed policy to constantly one-up previous items in terms of outrageous design), so revisiting the older items would suit me just fine.

+1, I tend to prefer more realistic and/or practical looking gear and, while FFXIV isn't nearly as bad in that regard as some other games, I struggle to come up with looks I'm happy with with the stuff we have at our disposal. I will say though that a lot of ShB and onwards gear (Crystarium, Cryptlurker etc. sets) has had a notably different, dare I say, better researched aesthetic by comparison

Examples? Because I'm pretty sure most of the low level ARR stuff has variants that can be dyed.

We have an official thread dedicated to requests of that nature - I'm not sure how often its checked and the results passed on, but its probably the best way to put wishes like this.

I'd like to see everything made dyeable :P
