Keyboard\Mouse Movement backwards

Hello,
On PS4 when I push joystick down (backwards) it auto turns me around in a fluid motion and im then facing that direction. It does not make me walk backwards. On PC with down button it makes me walk backwards. Is there a setting im missing to have that turn around motion more fluid on PC like it is on controller\joystick? Appreciate any tips! I love PC and so many advantages but movement like quickly turning around and running im having issues with. Thank you.

Enable Legacy Type in Movement Settings section of Character Configuration/General.
That way, the key you have bound to "backwards" will spin your character around to move in that direction.

Legacy mode is superior to Standard, but it does have a couple issues if all you do is turn on Legacy mode. To avoid these issues, make the following changes to your keybinds as well:

If you rebind your keys so that Legacy's Move [Left|Right] keys are the keys you were using for standard Strafe, and you bind Legacy's Point Camera [Left|Right] keys to use the keys you were using for standard Move [Left|Right], your legacy movement will become "standard movement, but you never backpedal and the camera never snaps in a disorienting way".
