Having trouble setting Anniversary (Ceremony of Eternal Bonding)

Hey, so my wife and I had our characters married recently (woo!) - alas, we were not able to do this on our actual, real-world anniversary. Thankfully, on the official help page for the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding, there is an entire page dedicated to fixing this problem. Specifically, it says that one can "select or confirm the date of your anniversary" using Hawu Bajihri in the East Shroud.

When we went there (together, in a party, with bracelets on), we selected the option to "Register your anniversary". However, all this did was register our anniversary to the current day that it was, and it did not give us an option to choose what day we would have our anniversary otherwise set to. After a mild panic, we realized we were able to seemingly undo this choice - though, now we are confused. Do we just have to wait until our actual anniversary rolls around and then talk to this NPC on that specific day? Or are we missing something? The help page implies that we should be able to select a day, but I absolutely do not see that option.

Not sure if this is right thing to do, but just bumping this because after all this time I still haven't had any luck figuring out the answer to this.

You or your partner should be able to reset the time and date for the ceremony by speaking to the npc outside the Sanctum door (from what I recall you both do not need to be present in order to do so), and it should update the time and date on the invitiations automatically too.

I can't remember the npc's name specifically but it's the elezen lady outside the front door, it is not that miqo'te stated on that page (she just handles the initial registration from what I remember).

Unfortunately, there is a window of available days that reset every week, and there are further times and dates that are restricted due to SE reserving those times for potential server maintenance when the game needs to be taken offline temporarily, there is nothing that can be done if you're after a specific time and date that falls into this 'restricted' time.

Also, there are a limited amount of slots available for potential ceremonies and once they're taken by other players, you have to wait til the next lot of dates becomes available sadly. ; ; Hence why it's best to get in as early as you can to register your ceremony before you miss out.

I think you have to BUY your anniversary ceremony first, and THEN talk to the person to change it to the date you want it to be, assuming the date is open.

Enkidoh and ICountFrom0, you are both talking about the ceremony. We are talking about setting the anniversary date after the ceremony.

There is a way to undo it? How do you do that and what does it entail?

All I see is the option "I wish to cancel my registration with the Sanctum.", which sounds like it might cancel more than just the anniversary date. So I don't dare click that option.

I am asking myself the same questions. This is indeed annoying me a lot.

Since we can't set it to a date in the past, maybe they didn't think the exact date was important for just the game?
