I was alwasy dont understand. Why they put "summer event" aka Moonfire Faire in August.
Since EU/NA call summer are June and July. August is our autumn season. (I'm from Europe)
Do reason Japan/South Koren's style august are thier summer time?

Okay. I'm mistake. Since I was child, remember school said August is autumn. Like ours May, June and July are summer season.)
Yeah seem August is summer. Maybe reason sometimes August weather came colder in my norther europe.

August is still summer for most NA. September tends to be the sort of straddle the seasons month. Also August in most of Japan is normal high temps and humidity.

I don't know about Europe, but in North America, Summer begins late in June and ends late in September.

I live in California, USA. Our Autumn doesn't start until late September. This past week was the first time in weeks that our temperatures dipped below a hundred degrees during the midday. And we probably won't cool down much until late August, early September. In other words, it's still summer.

I'm from northern Europe, and August is considered at least partially summer. In the southern part of the country, thermal summer (average temperature consistently above +10 °C) begins in late May and ends in mid-September. In the northern parts thermal summer begins in early June and ends in late August.
Another common convention is that summer is the three hottest months of the year, which is June, July and August.
I'm not really sure where or why August would be considered part of autumn. It's generally warmer than June on average. If you'd care to enlighten me, I'm curious to hear about it. -

August is still summer in NA, and apparently some parts of the EU. They are never going to be 100% accurate with global seasons and climates for the entire planet. For someone somewhere it is always going to feel off somehow. To be fair though, Mother Nature seems to be on something the last few years. Go home Mother Nature, you drunk!

August may as well be discount autumn. Sunny hot weather or no, the days are already getting shorter again and you're running down the clock on the part of the year that isn't miserable and dead. Get to the last few days before September, and you may as well just put yourself in an induced coma until things are decent again at the very start of April.
