Favorite Job Action
What is your single favorite job action in the game and why?
For me, it's easily NIN's Goka Mekkyaku—it's a beast mode area attack, has an excellent animation (both the flames and the casting), and it does exactly what I want my powered-up ninja magic to do.

Vermilion Scourge, because you can never unsee it. Mostly because you may never see anything else ever again.

Limits breaks! My favorite its BLM limit, cause you cant be more "sephiroth" than that, all are amazing, but BLM's my favorite!

Edge of Shadow/Darkness. A lot of DRK weaponskill animations feel slow and cumbersome, particularly Bloodspiller with its Lazy River-speed vertical loop. Edge, however, is exactly what I want from DRK attacks: A fast, brutal cut with a hard stop and pause at the end. The particle effects are icing on the cake, but it's the animation itself that I love.
Other than that, I'd say Dancer's... everything. Dancer is just fun to watch, period.

It's just awesome how you can more or less ignore mechanics with this tool, while everyone else has to walk ^___^

It's entirely possible to be unrelated but about a year before Passage of Arms was shown we were thinking of new spells and such, I had suggested wings coming from the paladin with the concept being that it would protect players within the cone behind them, and share tempered will. So when it came out I was like holy thal halls... So I just enjoy seeing that spell, looks neat, feels cool.
Though seeing it used in higher skill play I think an upgrade to it that is akin to dancer / summoner may be neat. Replaces some skills that allow paladin to do some sort of holy attacks- without breaking channel. Meaning people are a little less encouraged to snap shot the buff (time the skill for like 1 second uptime and then cancel)- though such a thing would have to be carefully balanced and is easy to suggest but probably harder to properly balance.. like if it was a big dps increase you'd see paladins protect nothing and just use it on on cooldown for damage ... :P (or it could move buff windows at around in unfortunate ways). Just some thought to encourage the imagery longer, even if it was only a portion of the total, like 5-10 seconds of the total.
I think Confiteor looks amazing and I like the holy crusader like vibes. It would be a bit neat if the other holy magic spells get some more crunch to them (they're neat but super elegant right now). I suppose it does save room for a holy offensive job if they wanted, though I do want to see at least something in the game that uses holy magic in the sort of theme 'wrath of god' (holy magic that is angry lol).
Overall I just like the paladin the most. Still wish for a dark souls like lightning spear toss though ;).
