Unable to download patch files

Hello,

Long story short: currently living in Vietnam, and started playing the free trial. quickly realized that was a big mistake considering that it was impossible to buy the game, had to start my character from scratch.

took the bullet, created a new account, new character, that I level up to 55. decided to buy the game, the update starts and it's impossible to make it work.

I tried everything recommended on the different pages I saw:
- Deactivated both antivirus and firewall
- Started the game as administrator
- checked for windows updates
- changed my DNS to the google one
- tried to use a VPN

Nothing works, crashes are still here
