Goushs Ooan DOES NOT have stuffed Clinoid!

EVERY website claims that you can purchase the Stuffed Clinoid from Goushs Ooan for 100 gemstones but he DOES NOT have that item in stock! He NEVER does. He ONLY has Amaurot Wall Lamp and Akadaemia Prospectuses as for housing items! Everything else is crafting items, materia, and miscellaneous stuff


I have at least 100 gemstones. I have 104 so it is NOT because I do not have enough gemstones for the Stuffed Clinoid.

I know that I can get those on the marketboard but I am not willing to pay the 500,000 gil price tag.

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

You have to do a certain number of FATEs in that area to unlock more items in the gemstone traders. It's not a very well known thing and I forget the menu it's under to check how many you've done.

Edit: Found it - Open your in-game menu and navigate to the Travel option. Under the Travel tab there is another option, Shared Fates. This menu will bring up an image showing you each of the six new zones introduced in FFXIV Shadowbringers. It also shows your Rank in that area. At each Rank increase, Rank 2, 3, 4, etc, you will be given new items to purchase from the Gemstone Trader.
