Suggestion: Instead of Beast Tribe Quests...

I know that we are getting new beast tribes in Endwalker, which means we're probably going to get new beast tribe quests of them but I would like to suggest something for future expansions: Playable Race Quests.

Like beast tribes, the Playable Race Quests would be repeatable quests players can do daily with stories that delve in depth about the Source's playable races'/clans' histories, cultures, and day-to-day lives. This could be a great way for some of the races/clans that have little-to-no lore or exposure in the game to get some (Keepers of the Moon Miqo'te and Duskwight Elezen, for example).

For trade-in rewards, it could have some of the standard fair, maybe this can be a way for races to get other versions of the Starting and Hempen gear sets and generic hairstyles that are shared between multiple-but-not-all races. Then, for players who are playing the race/clan of that questline could get exclusive items for that race/clan, like hairstyles, face paint, emotes, glamour indicative of the culture, etc (Naturally, if they fantasia to something else, they will still keep said items but can't use them).

I feel like except for some of the outsider clans, most people in Eorzea belong more to the culture of their city state than their clan or even race.

I’m all for more on moon keepers and duskwight, but I’m not sure it should be handled the same way as a beast tribe since I feel like that would just reinforce their otherness and not all people in those clans still participate in the culture of the clan.

They’ve been putting some tidbits on some of the clans in quests here and there, like how the original plainsfolk are a Polynesian-style culture. And the moogle quests for moon keepers. But I wish we had a little more of that.

In 1.0, we had NPCs in each city that described the main races of the city they were in. Seekers, midlanders, plainsfolk, and sea wolves for Limsa. Dunesfolk, highlanders, and hellsguard for Ul’dah. And keepers, duskwight, and wildwood in Gridania (I think Ul’dah and Gridania lore NPCs also talked about midlanders but I can’t quite remember). I wish they brought those NPCs back to at least give us lore dumps and exposition.
