You wont make gils while you leveling but all fishes i wrote are easy to get, and cheap in case you want to buy them.

Thanks! I just want the levels so I can make my own foods. Profit isn't an issue.

Are these still relevant? or have they been changed level wise?

You can use fish to sand all the way.

This is what I did to 50 (recently) - it ended up being net positive gil by maybe $1M. Note that basically past ~43 I was making any of the last few items depending on what was selling.
