I can name like 20 issues I have with New World but the 2 below things I thinkkkkk can be added to FF14. One requires an engine update and the other might be possible.
1. Non instanced world with climbing. Obviously this is engine update one that may never happen but I think it is pretty obvious not having connected zones is making the world feel small.
2. The next I think is possible. In New World you basically do not have to switch jobs to be able to gather stone or chop a tree. So my suggestion is make so that if I have mining maxxed out or unlocked then I do not need to swap to my miner.
So I could be in my Paladin build and see Botany or Mining nodes and when you click them you would swap to your mining layout for abilities. Since Job crystals are not required I think this might more possible.
Thoughts? Obviously in pvp I could easilllllllly see people wanting the Fort battle system in New World or similar to Aion.

Wouldn't mind 1, it would add new ways of exploration while you don't have flying, and would add a bit more depth in places like Diadem, Eureka, and Bozja.
Two I wouldn't mind, but not sure how they'd make it work considering the systems are tied to having appropriate stats to gather certain things successfully. Granted they could make the system so that the stats aren't needed, but not sure how I'd feel about that aspect. -
