Olympic games opening ceremony music

Music from various video games was played at the opening ceremony.
Do we know if Music from FF14 was involved?

I don't know about 14, list I saw if they saw says music from Final Fantasy 12 and the FF main theme was played.

i think i heared FF intro and some from Nier :D

There were main FF theme and victory fanfare. The second one we all know in FF14 as well.

Kind of surprised that there is no Nintendo music in that line-up.

I think it's neat how video games are so ingrained into Japan's culture that they do something like this. "We're nerds and we're proud of it!" I respect that. :p That is truly something special.

Oh i thought i was dreaming because I heard Kingdom hearts song playing too. I guess it’s true. And yes the FF victory theme played multiple times.
