Chocobo Companion buffs falling off unexpectedly

Noticed a couple things with the buffs on Chocobo Companion, the one you summon with Gysahl Greens. With chocobo-specific food (e.g. Curiel Root), you can also give your feathery companion a buff (e.g. extra xp gained)
1. Feed a food to companion (e.g. Curiel Root)
2. Log out
3. Log in
4. Notice that the buff is gone. The Gysahl Greens timer (companion timer) is still there, but the (xp buff is gone

The other one I noticed is Dance Partner , which also drops unexpectedly
1. Give Dance Partner to chocobo companion
2. Mount
3. Dismount
4. Dance Partner buff is gone
Expected behavior here is to keep the dance partner buff as long as we remain in the zone. If you Dance Partner a player, current behavior keeps the buff going until zone change, whether players mount up or not.

Yes, I realize the chocobo companion is also the mount, but a Dance Partner buff could still remain active, just visually hidden while mounted, shown again on dismount when the birb is partying again.
