I was clicking on npcs for a quest when suddenly the quest dialogue box, hotbars and menu icons disappeared. The only UI element that remains is the nameplate.
If I hit the hot keys or click on the area where the UI is collected my character or the game will respond accordingly. If I leave the zone, the chat box will briefly re-appear and then vanish once the zone loads.
