Fieldcraft Leves?
Was told fastest ways to level DoL was GC turn-ins & leves. The former was great, but it seems like it might be daily, after I turned it in, it disappeared (specifically the botanist one). Researched what areas had appropriate level leves, visited 2 or 3. Nothing available. Yes leve allowances are actually capped. How come? Is this normal, sure doesn’t seem that way.

GC turn ins are dailies which reset at 3:00 PM BST / 11:00 AM EDT.
Leves are only limited by the amount of Leve Allowances you have, of which resupply at a rate of 3 every 12 hours real time.
Once you out level the Leve level, the exp return is negligible, but they do show up on the Levemate's lists.
Here are the Levemates for Fieldcraft leves:

It's a time gate, so you don't blow through levels to max in just a few hours of game play, so it is a function of the game.

Will try those, can’t remember where, but I followed some list to some “no leves available!”
-
Its also possible that you havent unlocked the leves from the giver in question. If im remembering it right, each provider has an unlock quest before they start offering their list of leves.
Beyond that, yes GC turn ins are dailies that reset with the daily reset. There are also beast tribes you can use to level crafters(and eventually gatherers). Once you hit 50, collectables become another good option. Particularly if combined with a custom deliveries client or ishgardian restoration.

Ah, thanks for reminding me (as I get a much better handle on it) about beast tribes, the Namazu have an amazing mount at the end of the grind... wonder if I have to do both gathering and crafting?
Arghhh, gotta hit 60 DoH or DoL to unlock the dailies.

You have crafting tribes all the way up if you want/need to use them. Ixali are available for 1-50, moogles cover 50-60, then your namazu for 60-70(with dwarf for 70-80). As for the namazu, they cover both crafter and gatherer for their level range. You can use them to level either or both, though any individual quest will be tailored to the class you accepted it as. So if you picked a quest on WVR, it will(typically) have you talk to someone for materials then ask you to weave something. If you took the quest as BSM, you again talk to someone for materials then smith something up. If you took the quest on BTN, then they would ask you to go somewhere and gather them something. So no cross-play is required. If youre using the tribe for crafting, then crafting is all* they will ask you to do.
*There are a couple quests that are more about talking to people or interacting with the world rather then crafting or gathering. But since these quests wont ask a crafter to gather or a gatherer to craft, im not counting them against the previous statement.

Can I use gathering for moogle tribe?
-
Unfortunately Moogle are only for crafting. The only gathering beast tribes are the Namazu (60-70) and Qitari (70-80).

Ok, thanks. Something tells me I may have to have a crafter at maybe 50 to unlock it? Nothing in all i read for Namzu mentioned hitting 60 on a gatherer until I tried to do the unlock quest. Can’t get on now, it’s blazing hot by my computer, I’ll go check it out when I can.
