Unlink HP and MP from each other please

Much like you once did with the target bar and buff/debuffs It would be a nice QoL update if we could unlink the HP and MP bar UI for more flexibility this would mean that jobs that don't use MP like melee DPS could hide the MP bar altogether and other jobs could have them set up in different locations

For example I personally would much prefer to have my HP and MP bar stacked vertically rather than horizontally

Another fantastic suggestion, right now half of my job UIs have their job gauge superimposed over the MP gauge which I don't use and have no reason for, absolutely no reason this shouldn't have been done already

I love that idea.
And while we're at it, I use a controller and my ability bar vanishes on e I stop holding R2 (so I can see more outside of combat).

I would like to add an actual hotbar for skills that are essential for my current job so I can see at a glance what I have at my disposal but there is no option to make that hotbar go away outside of combat and I really don't want that thing visible all the time.

It's sad, I said the same thing back then but instead received backlash for it for some reason.

Unlink HP from MP like we unlink our buffs, debuffs and food / FC buffs? Yes please.

You get backlash on these forums for any proposed change to the game whatsoever even if you're just asking for options that other people don't have to use. My favorite example will always be that, before we had it as an option, there was a topic for people that wanted to be able to disclude certain mounts from mount roulette and there were actually people saying they shouldn't allow it, as it would then 'not be a roulette'.

So much this. I want to have my MP bar where I put my Blood Gauge for DRK. But the HP+MP bar wont fit in the location.
In similar fashion, id like to do that for WAR, and have HP where my Beast Gauge is. (Obviously need a different UI swapped each time I switch between WAR and DRK)
