"Unable to obtain character data"

I get this message when i try to log in

Most of the time that message just means you can't see any information about the character at the character selection screen, but you can still log in just fine.
This happens at high server load to (slightly) reduce the load.

Does this occur on each character you attempt to sign in with? Additionally, what have you tried to alleviate the issue so far.

This happens for my gf too now. Also when she finally got through the 600+ queue, the server had an error and kicked her out. So now she is in a 983 queue..

She still cant see her character. She tried to switch data center back and forth, but that didnt help.

Are the servers just super busy?

This has been happening to me as well for the last week. In addition to having queues of 150+ every time I log on.

Queue 500+

Light - Odin. I've been seeing this same issue both yesterday and today. Trying to log into the game -> unable to load character data -> 500-1500 que which doesn't seem to go down at all at first but after a long-ish waiting it usually goes down by 100-200

Same here. Got this once last week and cannot log in for some time.
When tried logging in another world, character data was available and no problem with logging in.
