Can't rename character after buying service

I purchased a name change from the mogstore, waited for the confirmation email to come through and logged in to change. But instead everytime I try to change then name I just get a notification saying "A name Change is Required to log in with this character."

I'm basically stuck in a loop and can't play the game.

Just to check, but how are you trying to change the name? You don't login to do it, but instead right-click the character in the list and there's the rename option.

If it's not working, try again later when the login servers aren't congested (and your character loads properly)
