Can you add the image itself to your post instead of a link to the image please?
My phone flagged your link as sus and won't let me click on it.
I am probably being an absolute dummy, but I have no idea how to upload an image. My two presented options only "Insert Link" and "Insert Image" both of which ask for me to post an attendant URL
That'd be great if someone could answer that actually. I've been a member of these forums for multiple years and still don't know how embedding works.
Thanks for getting me pointed in the right direction, all
Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer, normally bundled with certain motherboards with A-Volute brand on board audio chipset. (ASUS is one of the bigger users of this chipset)
If you do not use the audio headers on your motherboard, you do not need this device.
Like, if you use a nVidia or AMD video card to HDMI or DisplayPort to the monitor, then use the monitor's speakers or audio output headers to speakers/headset, then your system audio is handled via your video card and not the motherboard chipset, so that chipset system is not needed and can be disabled and it's support programs removed.
And yeah, it's buggy as hell.
i can only guess, but ffxiv doesn't handle switching audio sources. doing so in game will crash it. for example, if you switch from desktop speakers to headphones (depending on how it's handled). i currently have headphones that won't crash the game if i turn them on and off, but that's because the driver doesn't change. but in the past, with different headphones, turning off my headphones (maybe it was unplugging them?) caused my computer to revert to speakers and that would crash the game (or plugging the headphones in)
