I request more Tail armor!

For awhile I been trying really hard on wondering what to ask yoship and the other devs for Q&A's I've seen them do on the upcoming endwalker and two things have come to mind, and I wanna talk about it and or hear your thoughts on the matter.

At level 80 the dragoon get's a pretty good armor set, but the special thing about it is that if you are a miqo'te or an au'ra (edit: I forgot hrothgar has a tail too) you have armor that goes down the tail, and amazingly the armor moves with the tail! I thought it was the coolest thing I ever seen the designers do in terms of armor but I also realized that (and from what I know) the dragoon armor is the ONLY armor that has this sort of feature, and so I wondered, will they explore more on this? Was this just an experimental thing? Maybe they can do some more with it and also add extra features for races that don't have tails as well? Regardless of the matter I think tail armor is a really cool small bit they added in on more armor and add more small things like that with other races too.


sidenote the other question I had in mind is that if they plan on fixing lighting on some areas of realm reborn like the Old Gridania marketplace building. The lighting there get's really weird...

It would have been welcome with more accommodations for tails, both as tail accessories from certain armors and... Less cloaks clipping thru the tail. Looking at you paladin armors <.<

Yeah, the dragoon armour shows that they can do it, so it would be great to see it used more.

Ornamental stuff would look great, and armour is just sensible.

(Even if they just have a generic armour piece that they drop onto every armour set, that would be excellent.)

There's quite a few armors that clip through the tail, although I think it's cause the cloak itself kinda hugs to the body too tightly, cloaks or capes don't got that cloak or cape feel to it. and i wish they did, Kinda like the endwalker trailer, them cape physics give me hope.

Have no problems with armors where the cape/cloak is tightly to the body so that it looks like it sticking through a hole like orthodox fending and robes, but the lvl 80 paladin gear and the cryptlurker plate with a cape hanging notably off the armor is what infuriates me, especially since the tail will clip through the side of the cloak as you fight and that the sets themselves just look so damn good only to be ruined by this.

Guild Wars 2 got some great examples on how they handle tails, though there are still plenty of armors there that doesn't accommonate them... But those that do will either have an opening in the armor, add a model onto the tail or replace the tail with one unique to the armor.

I can understand long coats having a hole back there, but the tails poking through the capes look dumb and totally break the illusion of them being actual capes instead of working like a skirt.
