Beast Tribe Quest Limit request

Currently, we're allotted 12 beast tribe quests per day, and I understand that that was to keep people from completing the rep grind too quickly. We have 5 ARR beast tribes, then 3 each for Heavensward, Stormblood and Shadowbringers.

Would it be feasible to either increase the number of quests we are allowed to do for beast tribes each day, or just do away with the limit and allow players to do whatever quests are offered - at least for the past expansions - perhaps only have the 12 count for the current expansion?

I ask because I got inspired and wanted to see the whole game through a fresh character and it seems to me that the beast tribe limits is a bit of a stumbling block. This alt is currently working on Stormblood, but has only gotten 4 of the 5 ARR beast tibes to their top rep (until the allied quests) and just started working on the Ixal, and have a few points left over so starting on the Heavensward beast tribes. But once I open up more dailies for the Ixal, I'll end using most of my allotment on them, and have to pick up on the Heavensward later. It does keep players busy with something to do, but with so many, this is months and months of work.

you shouldn't be spending your allowances on multiple ranks worth of quests on any given ARR tribe anyway; picking only the highest ones available at your rank lets you max them out in about a month of grinding. you're left with plenty of allowances for other tribes, especially since ones in later expacs have built-in daily caps.

The stumbling block is the ARR beast tribe quests. They worked differently than the ones added in HW/SB/ShB with their multiple layers of quests depending on rank. The amount of rep you receive per quest is small as a result (even doing all 9 available dailies for a tribe other than Ixali won't yield the same rep as the 3 dailies available from a later expansion tribe). There are also more tribes than in the later expansions (5 versus 3).

But it is also optional side content done for mostly cosmetic rewards (non-cosmetic rewards have other sources). There's no need to try to rush to max rank on any of them.

I don't think the daily cap needs to be lifted. I think the rep rewarded for the ARR tribe quests should be increased instead so someone doing 3 quests gets the same rep they would get for doing 3 quests from a later expansion tribe. As old side content, game balance won't be upset in any way even if someone decides to use 9 of their allowances on a single tribe.

That would be amazing if they would adjust the ARR rep rewards, because yes, it's just a touch frustrating. I have them all to max rep on my main. It was just something I've noticed running this new character through MSQ and all. If I were a new player, I'd be more than a little frustrated with the ARR beast tribes, especially the Ixal - although I actually love the story with the Ixal.
