Summoner 6.0 Idea

Hi Folks! Hope you are well! I wanted to share with you my ideas for SMN in 6.0, This is for the speculation that we may get another Demi.

First keepin Egis the way they are, love em! granted AI could use some love but(GAruda always being so far away castin and Ifrit going back and forth, this isnt exponential entropy)

Jist of my idea is that SMN trances become "Stances" like MNK has with their Fists of Fire/wind/earth

We can have 3 buttons like our Egi's but for our Demis, They can be named as

Channel Bahamut(62)/Channel Phoenix(72)/Channel Third-Demi (82)


Then What i propose is that Dreadwyrm Trance Just becomes Trance, it will work akin to AST Lightspeed, But it changes to Dreadwyrm/Phoenix/Third-Demi Trance based on the Channel spell we choose.

Dreadwyrm would change Ruin III to (something bahamut related)
Phoenix would work the same as it does now,
Third Demi would work the same as either or,

With this i would also like that all Trance/Demi-summons work like phoenix Trance does at 80.

when triggering trance we would
summon bahamut at 70(under Channel Bahamut), Phoenix at 80(under Channel Phoenix),Third-demi at 90 (under Channel Third-Demi)

This can be worked through traits like how Enhanced Phoenix Trance Trait does at 80 for SMN now.
also summoning bahamut would give either another personal buff or a party buff like phoenix, same with Third Demi.

This also would make dying a bit less of an issue for we wont have to cycle between Demis unless we want to. and can objectively take a good chunk of time off our rotation.

And in deathflare's case, it gets reworked to:

Trance-flare(lvl60): Does exactly what Deathflare does but can be executed in any channeled state and ends Trance early (With Demi summons it can work like how MCH can make their queen/turret Do their final attack early and leave but instead the demi just leaves)

also, either Make Physic Something like a Single Target Everlasting flight or take it off our spells (Even if it only changes when we channel phoenix ill be happy, make soloing content unsynced easier as SMN)

Ideally i am aware that one Demi would be preferred to another , and that's fine! we can chose the summon that best fits the scenario. Need extra, wanna help, or want personal Healing? summon Phoenix, Want to summon Drago? summon him! Want whatever the third demi may be? summon it!

This also is slightly biased in the case i believe we should choose what we "summon" though we don't actually summon id like the illusion of choice.

Well first we are about 5 months from the release of 6.0, so I'm pretty the "redesign" of Summoner is already set in stone and well under way. Any feedback now would be for 7.0 and beyond.

Second, that is kind of how FWT and Phoenix work already. There is two different views on this. One group like have demi and trance separate for flexibility on when to use Demi while the other wants them to be linked for easy of use and more straight forward gameplay. Both sides are right really.

Third another Demi would just be too many temporary pets. Not saying we shouldn't add a new summon concept but Trance/Demi times 3 would just be too long of a rotation.
