Hello, I'm approaching the end of the Shadowbringers story so I'd like know what is the best way to find a FC. I'm fairly new to the game and would like some of that "like minded MMO stuff" from some other people lol.

Go to limsa then /sh lf max rank fc
You can check the Community forums or the FC recruitment page on the Lodestone if there's one up. What I did when I had been looking for one is just going to an alt or something and then shout for a FC and try to get some information about it and even join it for a little bit just to get a feel of what it would be like.

You can also click anyone in front of you, look at their Free Company details and click Apply.
The shouting in Limsa Lominsa is a common option too.
