Won't Someone Please Think of the (Roe) Children.

So this is a lighthearted thought that came to mind recently. With the reveal of Bunny-Boys and Hroth-Girls, it got me thinking, will be ever see the elusive Roegadyn child? It's been a while since they added in a new child model and of the original races only Roegadyn remain; and male Miqittens, lol. Anyone else think it might be cool if we finally get to see young Roes in Endwalker?

Lalafell are actually roe children—like elezen, they really shoot up in height in their 20s.

We're also missing Lalafell, Viera, and Hrothgar children. But yeah, Banri Oda of the development team brought this up about how he'd like to see Roegadyn children someday but they decided to add Au ra children instead because of where Stormblood takes place. So it most likely depends on where the story's taking us to, if one of the locations is home to those races then we'll see their children. Male Roegadyn children look like small Hyur Highlanders, I can't prove it yet but that's what you'll see.

XI features child versions of all its races as npcs. Has always struck me as odd that XIV doesn't.

Isn't there some Roe children in the Gold Saucer?

Well Sisipo was a niece to some Reogadyn whos name I can't remember back in 1.0...

There's been lalafell npcs identified as children by their nameplates in the game, but they just use the 'adult' lalafell model and don't really look any different. As for the other races, I suspect it's a lasting legacy of version 1.0, which had hyur and elezen children simply because the storyline required it (during the 1.0 Gridania story),and the development team simply did not get around to making children of other races - they've since added miqo'te children in ARR, so it's clear they can add them, it's just not considered of vital importance I guess.
