NA Servers down?

cant currently log into FFXIV,the circle is black,instead of its usual green colour.

Same here, the login bar for both username and password doesnt show up when the launcher appears.

Having the same problem. I thought it was just the heat here screwing my ISP's hardware.

Got a possible fix.

I tried everything:
1) I'm fully OS patched.
2) My devices have no new drivers.
3) Did the IE reset
4) Rebooted the modem
5) Run as admin

Nothing was working...

What did work, and thanks to FFXIV Reddit here, was move to the "old" layout. No idea why, but it works.

Looks like they may of introduced a bug into the data the new layout receives. Given the old still works.

For those following me: select your launcher settings -> select "change layout" -> launcher should restart and log in should be accessible.
