Disciple of Hand Ability Changes - Worth a look

The changes are bloody amazing.

A dire need to the throng of the useless abilities that we had previously.

In my opinion , makes the classes more fun to play.

does the animation get faster? or it already it is? I forgot lol

True... And that system definitely rewards people who have multiple crafting classes leveled.

I guess that's having all their hard work leveling up those classes and dedication paying off.

Oh man. I can't believe I'm actually using all my abilities in each synth.


Start it off with Pride of Labor and a Careful Synth -> Instant 40-50 quality.

Up next, Maker's Muse and 3 standards to get the progress to 60%.

Tender touch and 3 careful synths, even if I fail I raise my quality significantly. By this point the quality is in the hundreds.

Finish it up with Aspect Balance and Fulfillment, and every finished item nets me 100-120% bonus EXP.

Holy ding dong, dude.

I'm using this set up and getting some decent experience from it (+150-200%):
30 CRP Unerring Hand to advance the synth
45 CRP Byregot's Blessing (+100% Quality 3 steps)
20 CRP Improvise (+200% Quality 3 steps, needs Elemental Instability)
36 ALC Purification (+125 Quality 1 step)
36 CUL Heart and Soul (+125% Quality 1 step)

I expect there are better setups though, and more skilled crafters who time these skills better than I who watch shows while doing it XD Any professionals want to share their tips?


Edit: just got a nice big +272% exp, nice ^_^ Need to go farm some seals to get some scrolls to push that up even higher but so many other things to spend seals on first that I don't think I'll be able to get a single scroll over the next month >_<

What is the speed like? i've yet to try, can you chain standard much easier/faster?

Yeah i'd be interested in some opinions as to which 10 abilities make for good combos.

I guess 5 Active Abilities and 5 Passives since theres the cap.

Seems to be the level 45 ones mixing up together work quite well.
