Materials Storage for Crafting

Well I have played every fantasy mmo since Ultima Online. This is the best so far. Given that the dev team actually listens to its players I decided to drop in and post feedback here. I made it through SL and maxed out every crafting and gathering skill. The game play is great but the crafting side is not user friendly with respects to material management. Every retainer interaction is 8 clicks. That adds up very quickly when you are trying to make items for people.

What I would really like to see is a materials storage. GW2 had a really good one. All default materials would be placed in this storage. Those items are then accessible during crafting. It caps out so you can't store indefinitely there. It would be fine if we have to manually place items in there but having them available to craft once placed there would be a relief so we can spend more time playing and less time clicking.

I thought about the profit bump on retainers and I don't think it would really stop people from adding retainers because there is still a lot of gear for the glamours and other items they would keep. With a cap on the storage then folks would still be putting overflow up for sale. As a middle ground perhaps just allow a gathering storage. I have max retainers and even if this was implemented I would still have max retainers I assure you.
